Found a used Ludwig kit with Zildjian cymbals for a decent price, but the seller is firm. Also saw a vintage Gretsch set that needs new heads but has that warm tone I love. Browsing online, there are plenty of beginner kits for cheap, but I'm hunting for a mid-range Mapex or Pearl to upgrade my sound.
