I finally broke down and got pergola roof panels for my backyard in Austin. The scorching summer sun was just too much, and these panels make a huge difference. They cut the glare and heat, but still let in enough light so it doesn't feel like a cave. My wife loves that we can sit outside even during the hottest parts of the day. Definitely a game changer for our patio.
