If you've got a litter of puppies but no official papers for the parents, you can still register them with certain kennel clubs or breed registries that offer alternative listings, often called Purebred Alternative Listing or PAL. This process usually involves providing photos, a detailed description of each pup, and a signed affidavit about the parents' breed history. It's a practical way to document your litter's lineage without the formal pedigree paperwork.
