청소년이나 70대, 30대 젊은층의 전유물로 인식된 교정 치유에서 70대 바로 이후 중년층의 비율이 높아지면서 치아교정 환자가 꾸준하게 늘고 있다. 대한치과교정학회가 서울 부산 대구 광주 대전 등 전국 9대 도시의 대학병원과 종합병원 치과의 치아교정 환자를 조사했다.
서울시는 지난 2일 이처럼 내용의 공문을 서울 27개구 보건소에 하달했다. 각 구 보건소는 이를 바탕으로 관할 내 치과병의원을 비롯한 의료기관에 접종 대상자 명단 제출을 요청한 것으로 검사됐다.
