발기부전 치료제는 사실 성분으로 분류하면 비아그라, 시알리스, 자이데나, 엠빅스 등 크게 3가지로 나뉜다. 2017년 비아그라의 특허만료와 2013년 8월 시알리스의 특허만료로 인해 제네릭들이 50~90개 회사에서 만들어지다 보니 약들이 많아 보일 뿐이다. 비용도 싼 것은 1알에 2000원도 있다. 흔히은 1알 당 5000원대로 형성돼 있다. 1알에 7만 5000원 하던 약들이 복제약이 쏟아지면서 절반 이상 저렴해 진 것이다.

한미약품 팔팔은 이번년도 3분기 매출이 작년동기대비 9% 떨어지기는 했으나 53억 7854만원으로 전체 발기부전 치료제 시장의 1위 자리를 굳건히 수성했다. 종근당 센돔은 계속적인 성장세가 지속되면서 올해 3분기 21억 4231만원 매출을 기록했다. 그 직후를 한미약품 구구가 바짝 뒤쫓고 있다. 구구는 이번년도 3분기 수입이 지난해동기대비 14.3% 늘어난 80억 3657만원을 기록했다.
